Kenneth A. Harris Memorial Scholarship

The Kenneth A. Harris Memorial Scholarship is open to any graduating senior in the Jacksonville, Florida area who plans to attend college with a major in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) related sciences.

Each applicant must submit a one to two page typed, double spaced personal statement describing what aspirations they have for the life that would be beneficial to their community and the world around them. The statement should include an explanation of how they plan on supporting their dreams through higher education by majoring in a STEM related science.

The last date for Submission of Scholarship form for 2026 is
January 31, 2026.

Congratulations to Ashton Scott &
Tyshai Maple

Congratulations to Ashton Scott and Tyshai Maple, recipients of the 2025 Kenneth A Harris Memorial Foundation Scholarship award of $1500. Ashton and Tyshai are both seniors at William M. Raines High School. Ashton plans to attend Florida A&M University to pursue a degree in Information Technology with dreams to become an Engineer. Tyshai will be attending Florida A&M University as well and plans to major in Psychology with hopes of becoming a Forensic Psychologist.
